Gathering as a community to worship and refocus our lives around the good news about Jesus is a core value, and essential identity of New Valley Church. The Bible refers to believers as sons and daughters of God. That truth makes us a family ... and families gather. We gather weekly on Sundays to worship through music, teaching, prayer, and sacraments.
WHEN AND WHERE?
We have two identical services at 9:00am & 10:45am. Our second service at 10:45 is sign interpreted and seating is reserved in the front on the left as you walk in the sanctuary.
New Valley is located in northeast Chandler. Our building is located east of Arizona Avenue on Comstock Drive just south of Elliot Road in the Arizona Corporate Plaza (101 E Comstock Dr. Chandler, AZ 85225).
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY KIDS?
Children ranging from birth through 5th grade are welcome to participate in the New Valley Kids Ministry where they will learn about the gospel in a fun way and in a safe environment. New Valley is proud to use The Gospel Project for our children's curriculum. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered Bible Study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events - presenting the story of redemption through Jesus. Check-in for children is done in the lobby of our kids building, just south of our main building. A separate entrance to this building is located off of the parking lot to the west of both buildings. All of our children's workers have undergone background checks and training prior to volunteering. For your security, when children are checked in, the parent receives a pick-up tag that needs to be shown when retrieving your child.
WHAT IS A SERVICE LIKE?
Our services typically run about 75 minutes. People arrive early and stay late to grab coffee and catch up with friends. We start our services with music and what we like to refer to as a 'Call to Worship' that reminds our community why we're gathered and reinforces our purpose in seeking to follow and worship Christ. We read both ancient and modern confessions of faith and teach sermons out of the Bible to study a specific book or what the Bible says about a specific topic. The sermon is designed to take God's Word, His loving will for our lives, and make it applicable for everyone in ways and terms we can all understand. We respond to the preaching with more singing, regularly celebrating the sacrament of communion, and a benediction or 'good word of blessing' to remind us of who we are and what we're called to in Jesus Christ.
We are led in singing by a worship band, and you can expect a combination of hymns and new worship songs. Recent sermons are found on this site as a podcast.
We hope to see you soon!
