I am blessed to be married to Bekah, my high school sweetheart. We have a cool story, so you should ask me about it sometime. We have three sons (so far): Caedmon, Rhodes, and Leland.

My roots are in rural Mississippi, but I went to college at the University of Nebraska where I earned a BA in History, with minors in Communication Studies and Judaic Studies. After college, I attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, where I received a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) in 2013.

I have felt called to ministry for a long time. When I was young, my parents prayed for me and encouraged me to think about being a pastor. In high school, my youth pastor mentored and discipled me. When I was in college, I was part of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) as both a ministry leader and a worship leader. Before coming to New Valley, I was a worship leader for 12 years in 5 different churches. I also served as a pastoral intern, youth intern, and church-planting intern for 3 years at Resurrection Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.
I joined the New Valley team as Assistant Pastor in June of 2013. I love the gospel-centered and gracious culture of our church!
