Connecting with a new church community can be a daunting task. We've tried to simplify that for you. Here are the ways you can most easily connect with us.
Our Sunday services are the central event in our weekly calendar. Please consider joining us for worship on a Sunday. We provide ASL interpretation each week for our 10:30am service.
We have Connection Cards located on the back of the chairs in our sanctuary. This card is the best way to give us your information and to let us know how we can serve you. Everything from asking for prayer, expressing interest in joining a cGroup, or serving on a team begins with filling out a Connection Card. Fill out our Online Connection Card.
Every 6-8 weeks we hold a lunch after 2nd service to give our guests a chance to meet our lead pastor, Scott Brown, as well as other leaders at New Valley. We talk about our vision, answer basic questions, and help you get further connected. Childcare is also provided. Fill out our online Connection Lunch Card to sign up for the next lunch or contact us via email.
This is what we call our small groups or home groups. Gospel Communities (GC's) are the lifeblood of New Valley Church. Attending on a Sunday and having a few hurried minutes to connect with others really isn't enough. We believe all Christians and those seeking to know more about God need to place themselves in community with other believers/seekers in order to flesh out the gospel in their day-to-day lives. Apart from visiting our community on a Sunday, connecting to a GC is the next most vital step you can take as a seeker or follower of Jesus.
New Valley is proud to routinely host short-term adult education classes on various aspects of the Christian life, from Bible knowledge, to parenting, to finances. Keep watch on our website, our Sunday morning announcements, or our newsletter to learn of upcoming educational opportunities.
The Weekly Update is what we call our weekly newsletter. Sign up for it here and receive an email on Friday mornings with the most pressing announcements and goings-on at New Valley.
We believe one of the best things you can do for yourself is to serve on a ministry team. Does this benefit us? Sure, but more importantly it benefits you by connecting you to other team members and making you an 'owner' and 'active participant' in the ministry happening at New Valley Church, rather than just a recipient. Fill out our Online Connection Card to express interest in joining a team.
Giving financially is one of the many ways we worship God. As a convenience to those who call New Valley Church home, giving can be done through both the 'full' and 'mobile' versions of the website by clicking here.
